User Conference
Each year Office Depot hosts the "Success Strategies for Businesswomen Conference" to help women in business manage their businesses more successfully. With previous successful events, Office Depot wanted to "raise the bar," while improving interaction with attendees. Live Marketing helped Office Depot create opportunities to provoke emotional involvement from attendees, and helped set the stage for a flawless execution. Our services included:
- Creative direction and strategy
- Scenic design and staging; AV and lighting; and production services for general sessions, keynotes, and gala awards
- Conference opening production
- Providing celebrity speaker “handlers” for:
- The Honorable Hillary Rodham Clinton, United States Senator and Former First Lady
- Katie Couric
- Mary Matalin, Former Assistant to President Bush and Counselor to Vice President Cheney
- Alexis M. Herman, Former Secretary of Labor
- Scripting transitions and speaker introductions for the Master of Ceremonies
- On-site technical direction and staffing (producer, stage manager, and speaker liaison)
- Project management and technical direction
The conference surpassed the previous year’s attendance by nearly 150%, and 99% of attendees said they would recommend the conference to others.
