Sales Meeting
 
After several years of acquisitions, new relationships and product development, Ciena needed help at their Annual Sales Meeting clearly communicating senior management’s strategic plan for the coming year, while also motivating the sales force.

Ciena hired Live Marketing to define and develop the overall meeting strategy and objectives, and handle all creative and production elements, including:

  • Strategic and creative development for the overall meeting theme and event messaging
  • Project management and procurement for all production elements related to the welcome reception, general and breakout sessions, and awards gala—staging, lighting, AV, special effects, & scenic
  • Securing a motivational keynote speaker
  • Graphic design for meeting theme elements
  • Scripting and creative direction to extend the theme across the entire meeting
  • Speech writing and speaker coaching for Ciena executives and customer speakers
  • Media production, including video production for general sessions, and awards night
  • Pre- and post-meeting surveys to measure the meeting’s efficacy
Of those surveyed after the meeting concluded, 74% said the strategic plan for the company was well communicated, and 92% of participants rated the meeting positively.
